🌟 June 2025 – Celebrations, Milestones & All That SweetAz Magic
June is officially birthday month at SweetAz HQ—hello to all the fellow Geminis out there (and of course, our beautiful Cancerians too!). This month was a whirlwind of milestone celebrations, cultural events, and sweet surprises. From turning 16 and 40 to wedding anniversaries and traditional Tongan celebrations, we were proud to bring the SweetAz sparkle all across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

🎉 Mysha’s 40th Birthday Bash – Gold Coast
Mysha had one major reason to celebrate—her 40th birthday and a kid-free weekend for the first time ever (thanks, grandparents 🙌). With a weekend of festivities planned, we helped set up the home-leg of her celebration with chair and table hire, so she could focus on enjoying her milestone. What a way to kick off the month—cheers to 40 fabulous years, Mysha!
✨ Shampa’s Sweet 16 Surprise – Annerley
Shampa pulled off an EPIC Sweet 16 for her daughter in Annerley. We created a glam photo wall with a gold shimmer wall, glowing Sweet 16 neon sign, and a dramatic black and gold balloon garland. After the pics, the girls were whisked away in a limo for a stylish Gold Coast ticky tour. All this while Shampa juggled planning and family care—talk about supermum! 🖤💛
🎈Our Own SweetAz Birthday Escape – Gold Coast
June isn’t just about our customers—it’s also my birthday month! Kahn surprised me with a unique Gold Coast getaway at the QT Hotel that blended luxury with rustic cabin vibes. We were taken up to Level 2, through the function rooms, and out onto the roof—where six private cabins sat around a firepit. Ours had wooden walls, no TV, and a giant step-up bed across three walls. Bliss. We topped it off with spa treatments and Japanese cuisine from a shared menu that had us trying new things. It was SweetAz perfection.
🪩 Jodie’s Disco-Inspired 50th – Wacol
Jodie, an experienced event planner, called us in urgently to help complete the vision for her friend’s 50th birthday at a Wacol warehouse surrounded by custom trucks. With a giant disco ball suspended from the ceiling, our silver shimmer wall became the perfect base for her sparkly photo wall. Last-minute magic? That’s what we do best.
🎁 Maddie’s Secret 30th – Surprise Setup!
Maddie had a secret celebration planned for her partner’s 30th birthday, and we were in on it! Under the cover of a “work event,” we delivered chairs and tables for the surprise setup. We love a sneaky celebration—and Maddie nailed it! 🎉🕵️
❤️ Anjan & Wife’s 32nd Anniversary – Taringa
Anjan and his wife reminded us that every year of love is worth celebrating. For their 32nd wedding anniversary at Indian Mehfil restaurant in Taringa, we brought in a rose gold shimmer wall, rich red, orange, and gold balloons, and a glowing Happy Anniversary neon. The setup beautifully tied into their outfits and the venue’s vibrant decor. Magic. Pure magic. ✨
🎂 Eva’s Tongan Family Celebration – Sunnybank Hills
Eva organised her nephew’s 21st birthday in traditional Tongan style at the Ballroom at Runcorn Tavern in Sunnybank Hills. We provided a gold shimmer wall and Twenty One neon sign as the backdrop to an incredible cake table. The family stayed up late prepping stunning gold and black balloons and laying traditional mats beneath the VIP tables. It was rich in culture, love, and family pride. Thank you for letting us be part of something so special.
💍 Cody’s Bridal Shower Save – Mount Cotton
Cody reached out with a last-minute request—chairs were urgently needed for a bridal shower for Shona in Mount Cotton, and the event was just a day away. We jumped into action and delivered exactly what was needed. We love being able to support our local community and step in to rescue a party setup when it matters most. Congrats Shona—we hope your day was absolutely beautiful!
